I wanted more sharpness but it's my first try on panning. Few test shots with speed priority (Tv) and depending on the speed of the subject the Tv varies.
Another challenging part is the light..the slower the shutter speed it brings more light and it's getting overexposed. Not a good thing.

It's fun you should try it! if you have not so..

TIPS:

- start with your foot PLANTED - pointing at end point.
- select dark hue colors background - not like a white cloud, or power lines
- do (or set camera) continous shot (dont let go the index finger on shutter)
- twist your body to the direction of the subject, as subject approach, click and hold shutter to follow it through by moving your torso and arms (keep elbows tight and closed to body - no movement/shake or use tripod ;) and finish off at end point.
